If there was a wedding that I simply couldn’t compare to anyone else’s, bar none it would be Joed and Allan’s ‘spiked’ wedding. A fierce mashup of unconventional ideas, honest-to-goodness emotions, and personal style, this wedding truly rocked the idea of doing-your-own-thing.

A real wedding like no other. Rissa Mananquil and Paolo Trillo’s wedding has to be one of 2011’s best surprises for me, as Tony Toni of radio show Boy’s Night Out quipped ‘it’s a wedding you’d surely like to be invited to.’ A celebration that converged Manila’s fashion, media, and political elite, it’s hard to comprehend that the foundation of the magnanimity of this event, as Rissa and Paolo made it clear to me right from the start, is the idea of elegant minimalism and romantic simplicity.

A number of photos and details of the wedding have been out on publications, articles, and media sites early on – BridalBook, The Philippine Star, Philippine Inquirer, Town & Country and Lifestyle Asia. I leave the details to them, enjoy the photos here :)

Simply one of the most memorable weddings my team and I are grateful for the privilege to have shot. And what an honor to have worked with both the fashion and wedding industries’ best.
