Two years after her memorable email to me, it was the best time to finally meet her. On her wedding day, as their photographer! Vanessa and Gerard’s wedding was a splendidly lovely affair filled with incredible light, tears, laughter, and much love. I’ve always thought I’d only see a laid back, magical garden ceremony somewhere in the hills of Napa Valley or Sonoma County, only to discover one unfolding here right in the middle of the hills of Antipolo.

Really tempted to fastforward into posting my current shoots. But all these gems from the past months are just begging to be posted, so there, will be going through my faves from the lot.

First up is Lanie & Andrew’s splendid, very romantic wedding that was held in the bride’s hometown in Bulacan. Ironically though, as I look back at it, their wedding gives me an unmistakable, extraordinary feel it was shot abroad…let alone for the jeepney and the pastillas :) While you’d think destination weddings are classy, it need not be impossibly abroad or ‘epic’. Your destination can be simply right here.

The globetrotting couple is actually based from Australia and New York. Shot at the The Greenery, Bulacan, Philippines. Gown by Cecilio Abad. Hair and Makeup by good friends Angie Cruz and Ogie Rayel. Additional photos by Paulo Magsaysay and John Lucas Reyes.
