A real wedding like no other. Rissa Mananquil and Paolo Trillo’s wedding has to be one of 2011’s best surprises for me, as Tony Toni of radio show Boy’s Night Out quipped ‘it’s a wedding you’d surely like to be invited to.’ A celebration that converged Manila’s fashion, media, and political elite, it’s hard to comprehend that the foundation of the magnanimity of this event, as Rissa and Paolo made it clear to me right from the start, is the idea of elegant minimalism and romantic simplicity.

A number of photos and details of the wedding have been out on publications, articles, and media sites early on – BridalBook, The Philippine Star, Philippine Inquirer, Town & Country and Lifestyle Asia. I leave the details to them, enjoy the photos here :)

Simply one of the most memorable weddings my team and I are grateful for the privilege to have shot. And what an honor to have worked with both the fashion and wedding industries’ best.

Ceremony Gown & Groom’s Suit: Randy Ortiz | Reception Gown: Rhett Eala | Makeup: Mickey See | Hair: Ogie Rayel | Bouquet & Entourage Flowers: Vatel Manila | Reception Flowers & Styling: Zenas Pineda | Wedding Cake: Heny Sison | Emcees: Tim Yap & Patricia Bermudez-Hizon | Coordination: Jackie Aquino | Videography: Bob Nicolas | Venue: The Peninsula Manila

Nina and Dolph’s wedding was one of the weddings that I would always remember because of 3 things: the bride had 3 gorgeous shoes, their church was simply the Sistine Chapel of the Philippines, and it was the first time I actually saw how nice fire lanterns were :) Beyond these, their wedding even had a ton more interesting detail if you look at the photos closely.

It was a joy working with supplier friends Paolo Feliciano (main photographer), K by Cunanan (catering), and Dylan Gozum of Vatel Manila (flowers) on this wedding, as well as a pleasure working with Chug Cadiogan (video), Voltaire Zalamea of Events and Concepts (coordination), and Francois Roxas (makeup).

Shot on Location at Bacolor, Guagua, and Mexico, Pampanga.
